I am a retired Army Warrant Officer with 24 years of service. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Campbell University, and a Master of Science from Central Michigan University. I am an avid Christian who loves God and puts Him first in everything. I follow the Golden Rule, and truly believe in giving back and helping others. I love bodybuilding, golfing, running, painting, and shopping. I am motivated by helping veterans and helping out within the community. My philosophy is, “If you put God first in everything you do, He will see you through.”
What led you to write and publish your book? What message do you want to convey to readers?
I have co-authored two other books before. This is my first book that I authored solo. My love of God empowered me to write this book. My intention is to let people know that you never know when you will encounter God.
Describe the impact of authorship on your life. When you sold your first copy, how did that feel?
Authorship has shown me that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to. I was absolutely elated when I sold the first copy of my book.
What advice would you give to those who are struggling to move past their fears and walk into the boldness it takes to be an author?
I would tell them to follow their dreams and take the initial steps to become an author. I did the same, and now I am motivated to continue writing.
